Transportation

The rural make up of South Central Idaho and the absence of a public transportation systems, often makes it difficult for individuals needing treatment to get to necessary resources.

Pro Active Behavioral Health has obtained 2 vans, and has been approved to provide limited/non-medical transportation to our clientele for the following programs:

  1. Substance Abuse Treatment and Recovery Support Services

  2. Restorative Alternatives Program (After-School Program)

  3. Developmental Disabilities Programs

This transportation is utilized by appointment only for individuals receiving services through this agency. It is not available for transportation requests from the general public, or for purposes not associated with Pro Active Advantage, LLC

At Pro Active your safety is our first priority. Therefore, our drivers are required to:

  • Successfully complete a criminal history background check, which includes a review of their driving records.

  • Be a Licensed Driver in the State of Idaho

  • Receive training in:

    • Van Safety

    • Defensive Driving

    • Winter Driving

    • Distracted Driving

    • Patient Confidentiality

    • Wheelchair Securement

    • Fire Safety – Use of Fire Extinguisher

  • Be trained and certified in CPR/First Aid.
